I’m a Director of Swingbridge Arts, a non-profit company of creative producers. We develop performance works under the name Jump Leads Productions. With our background in literature, visual art, music-making, and publishing for young people, we believe in the value of storytelling in all its forms (especially for kids) and we love working with music. A Whole New Way of Getting Dressed by Coco's Lunch [Track 4] Ambrosia by Jacqueline Gawler [Track 6] Sue Johnson, a member of Coco’s Lunch a cappella group, set to music Elizabeth’s poem All the Wild Wonders from the picture book The Moon in the Man.
Sue sings it with Coco’s Lunch on their CD A Whole New Way of Getting Dressed. The song was a finalist in the Most Performed Jazz Work section of the APRA Music Awards, Sydney, 2003 Sue also teaches ‘Word of Mouth’ the small choir at the Melbourne office of Allen and Unwin. |
